Quarterly Highlights
o In Q4 2009, there was a slight increase in
o G apartment supply. Apartment units increased 1% Q-o-Q and 3.7% Y-o-Y, from 11,151 units in the last quarter to a total of 11,268 units.

o There were four apartment projects completed in Q4 2009, with 97 new units. Sethi Terrace and Baan Bannawan are located in the prime Sukhumvit area; whereas Ploenchit Grand View Mansion and Tropical Langsuan are located in Central Lumpini.

o Occupancy remained high at 89.8%, down from 91% in Q3. The total take-up was 10,117 units for this quarter down from 10,147 units in the last quarter.

o The Central Lumpini area posted the best results and the highest achieved rents with Grade A rents of THB 454/m2/month, up 13.8% Y-o-Y and 10.2% Q-o-Q.

o Japanese expatriates made up 23.29% of the total expatriate community followed by the Chinese with 8.74%, British with 8.54% and Indian with 8.08%.
